Perfect session apart from forgetting my harness which was on the washing line back at home - Doh!!
The sun was shining and there was a nice steady wind, ideal for practising those water starts. There were5 other lads out on sails ranging from 5.5 - 6.5 and me on my 6.3 and huge board. First time I'd seen anyone out windsurfing apart from myself.
Asked around to see who had a spare harness and Tony came in after his hour half on the water for a brew so lent me his harness for half an hour. Was great fun whilst it lasted until I had to give the harness back.
Phil gave me some very useful tips so I spent the rest of the time perfecting the beach start and letting the wind do all the hard work, hardly any input needed and then practised a few water starts. The wind died throughout the session and at the end could just about still get onto the plane. Just wished I hadn;t forgotten my harness and maybe of go there a little earlier.
Just hope tomorrows gonna bring the same although the forecast doesn't look to promising for later in the day. session was a bewty!!
